This study was completed in May 2007 by Jeffrey O. Stull of International Personnel Protection, Inc. in conjunction with the University of Alberta.

The study was undertaken to compare Esporta Wash System's laundering processes to that of conventional laundry in terms of soiling removal, chemical contaminant removal, and effects on key firefighter protective clothing properties.

The results verified the Esporta Wash System’s superior ability to clean fabrics contaminated with carbon monoxide, inorganic gases, acid gases, aldehydes, polynuclear aromatic compounds and metals, chlorinated compounds and hydrocarbons.

It also demonstrated the Esporta Wash System's ability to successfully remove both organic and inorganic contaminants.
