This study examined the ability of the Esporta Wash System to decontaminate dense soft contents such as athletic equipment and protective fire equipment.  Undertaken in November and December of 2002, this report from Caro Environmental Services showed percentage kill values of bacteria, yeast and mold of 99.9997% in both hockey equipment and fire suits.

This was the first study that demonstrated that the Esporta Wash System could successfully clean and remove inorganic and organic contaminants.
